Freedom and Citizenship Program
We are fifteen humble and privileged students who spent the summer exploring the historical and philosophical meanings of “freedom” and “citizenship” alongside our professors and teaching assistants in a rigorous three week seminar. During the fall, we further explored these ideas in light of the presidential election. This spring, we used the knowledge we acquired to create this website. Through debates, presentations, audio clips, and video interviews, we hope to encourage all citizens–regardless of race, language, age, and economic status–to protect and exercise their voting rights.
